Hello
Lately only thing that I post on my blog here are my patterns, so once again… it me & new pattern!
I always want to make me some triangle scarf/shawl… so one weekend I had a bit of free time and 3 balls of Eco-cotton in Adventurine. I went through my stitch patterns, played with yarn, made some samples, frogged few times and this is what I came up with…
You will need
- 3 or 4** balls of Eco cotton (50gr) by Nurturing fibers or other yarn of your choice in DK;
- 3.5 or 4 mm hook –size of your hook depending on your tension. I used 4mm;
- tapestry needle
- scissor
Abbreviation
This pattern uses American Standard Abbreviations
- ch – chain;
- sc – single crochet;
- tr – treble;
- tr2tog – 2 trebles together;
- sl.st. – slip stitch;
- rep – repeat;
Pattern:
Chain 15.
1 row – 1sc in 2nd ch from the hook, 2ch , miss 6ch, work following in to next chain (1tr, 1ch, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr, 1ch, 1tr), miss 6ch, 1sc in to last chain.

Carry on working by following row 6 and 7. Only changes that will be in each row is that your *-* repeats will increase by 1. Example: row 5 and 6 you have repeat *-* 2 times and in row 7 and 8 you going to have *-* repeat 3 times and so on in your following rows.
If you prefer working with diagram… see my drawing below ;) … just excuse quality of the image(((… one day I’ll get myself diagram software… so for now its handmade ;))
You can make it as many rows as you like or till your yarn runs out.
**I finished my shawl on 47th row… it was big enough for me and I also run out of eco-cotton (3 balls of 50gr each).
I decided that lacy pattern of the shawl didn’t needed edging… it was pretty as it is and I also I didn’t want to over do it with to much “frills”. But if you feel its missing something… go ahead and have fun and please send me pictures!
I would love to see your version of this shawl/scarf.
Love,
Yuli
