Fingerless gloves pattern inspired by ~ Nina and fresh cup of coffee from Blue Shed.
For this gloves I used:
-3 – 4 ply yarn
– 2.5 mm crochet hook
– tapestry needle
~ Abbreviation ~
ch – chain;
sc – single crochet;
dc – double crochet;
sl.st. – slip stitch;
Note:
sc rounds – 1 chains in the beginning of every row as a replacement for sc. Finish each round with 1 sl. st. in 1st sc from beginning of round.
pattern rounds – 3 chains in the beginning of every row as a replacement for dc. Finish each round with 1 sl. st. in 3rd ch from beginning of round.
~ Pattern ~

2 – 5 rounds – sc in each st = 42 sc
6 round – 3ch, 2 dc into same space as 3ch, *miss 2, 1dc into next st, miss 2, 5dc into next st, rep. *-* till the end of this round and finishing with – miss 2, 1dc into next st, miss 2, 2 dc in to same space as 3ch from beginning of this round, sl.st into 3rd chain. See picture 1.

8 – 13 rounds – rep rounds 6 and 7.
14 round – 3ch, miss 2, 5dc into next st, miss 2, 1 dc. Then to create opening for thumb we will skip 5dc, crochet 5 sc base chain or make 5 chains, and 1 dc above next 5 dc see Picture 2. Carry on with pattern till end of this round.
15 round – 3ch, 2 dc into same space as 3ch, *miss 2, 1dc into next st, miss 2, 5dc into next st, rep *-* – 6times. See picture 2. Finish with – miss 2, 1dc into next st, miss 2, 2 dc in to same space as 3ch from beginning of this round, sl.st into 3rd chain.
16 – 19 round – work pattern as in 6 and 7 round.
Finish glove by weaving ends with tapestry needle.
In this glove pattern I used crochet stitch “The Fans” from Mon Tricot “500 motifs, patterns and stitches” crochet dictionary.
“The Fan” stitch – multiple of 6 + 4 if work in rows and multiple of 6 if work in rounds.
When I made first pair of gloves with DK yarn I started with 36 ch ;) You can adjust pattern to suite thickness of your yarn, just remember that pattern must multiple of 6.

Have fun and play around with different yarn to create your own pair… and please don’t forget to share your pictures with me on my FB page or via e-mail;)
Have a beautiful week,
Yuli xx
