I put together another photo tutorial that I would love to share with you. I use my Yuli Flower to created Granny Square and as you know there is so many ways to use it.
Be creative and use this square to make cushions, blankets and other accessories. And don’t forget to share pictures of your work with me… I would love to see it.
~ Happy Flower Granny Square ~
You will need
~ DK yarn or any other yarn of your choice (I used Nikkim cotton “Vinnies Colors”);
~ 4 mm hook;
~ tapestry needle
~ scissor
Abbreviation
ch – chain;
sc –single crochet;
dc – double crochet;
sl.st. – slip stitch;
~ Tutorial ~
Crochet ~ Yuli Flower ~ using my previous tutorial.
Working with your finished Yuli Flower, hold it with right side facing you.
Work all sl.st. in to back loops of sc (between flower petals).
Step 1 – *sl. st. in sc, ch 4* rep *-* 8 times. Finish with sl.st. in sc from beginning of this round.
Step 2 – sl.st. into next 2 ch of your first 4 ch space, 3 ch , 2 dc in first 4 ch space, *1 ch, (3 dc, 3 ch, 3 dc) in next 4 ch space, 1 ch, 3 dc in next 4 ch space,* rep *-* 3 times. Finish with 1 ch, (3 dc, 3 ch, 3 dc) in next 4 ch space, 1 ch, sl. st. in 3 ch from beginning of this round.
Step 3 – ch 3, 1 ch, 3 dc in 1 ch space,* 1 ch, (3 dc, 3 ch, 3 dc) in 3 ch space, 1 ch, 3 dc in 1 ch space, 1 ch, 3 dc in 1 ch space, * rep *-* 3 times. Finish with 1 ch, (3 dc, 3 ch, 3 dc) in 3 ch space, 1 ch, 2 dc in 1 ch space (where you started with 4 ch), sl. st. in 3rd ch from beginning of this round.
Happy Flower Granny done… but of course you can make your granny square as big as you like;)
